The main aim of the workshop was to initiate actions at local level on climate change adaptation by involving municipal authorities and teachers. The workshop discussed needs to amend municipal byelaws and standards to take into account ‘what if’ scenarios of climate change related calamities. The workshop also looked into challenges in effective implementation of environmental regulations that are set for township projects including constructions.
