SHARE THIS PAGE:

The training was hosted by the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Korea and co-organized by Korea Adaptation Center for Climate Change / Korea Environment Institute and APAN, in conjunction with the Adaptation Forum 2014. The training aimed to improve the capacity of national and local authorities, practitioners and stakeholders in their adaptation planning for climate change and the evaluation of their current planning and implementing tools.

Over 30 invited practitioners and resource persons from 15 countries attended the event. The participants agreed that limited knowledge on M&E is a main obstacle to advance national climate change adaptation efforts and that appropriate evaluation can help level the gap between environmental and economic benefits of adaptation, and provide useful tools for decision makers.
