The 24th Ph.D. Workshop on International ClimatePolicy will be held at Albert-Ludwigs-UniversityFreiburg (ALU) and the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems Freiburg (ISE), in Germanyfrom May 3 to May 4. The ICP workshops series isorganized twice a year under the auspices of theEuropean Ph.D. Network on International ClimatePolicy. It aims to offer doctoral candidates theopportunity to present their research ideas andresults, receive feedback, and exchange informationand assistance in an informal setting. PhD studentsfrom all disciplines working on topics relevant toclimate policy are invited to submit applications. The24th ICP workshop will cover topics of relevance forclimate change mitigation and adaptation, such aspolicy instruments, carbon markets, science-policyinterface, climate and development, renewableenergy and forests in a changing climate, as wellas climate change negotiations and post-Kyotogovernance architectures. Participation is free ofcharge, but workshop participants are expected tocover their travel and accommodation expenses.
