Organizers: APAN, UNEP and the Local governments for sustainability (ICLEI)

This training aims to enhance the understanding of national and local governments on climate issues at local, national and global level and thus improve their capacity in adaptation and mitigation planning for climate change. The objectives of providing conceptual clarities on the impacts of climate change and ways to address these impacts while introducing different dimensions and approaches of climate change adaptation including the different measures and mainstreaming approaches is intended to be achieved through experts’ presentations.
