Enhancing technical capacity for Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Management (DRM) in Agriculture sector and economic analysis of the policy implications, adaptation interventions and lessons learned.

To increase resilience and awareness of local communities engaged in agriculture in Nepal

To test and operationalize the shift from a reactive emergency response approach towards a pro-active natural hazard risk prevention/preparedness approach in the agricultural sector

The project would also help local authorities to increase awareness and resilience needed to address increasing climate variability and change through prioritised climate change adaptation and disaster preparedness practices.
