Description of Intervention
South-Central Bangladesh is prone to extended monsoon flooding and water-logging from the ocean and the Ganges and Januma Rivers. The present project aims to facilitate the process of adaptation in these areas, especially in the field of agriculture and water. It will further promote alternate livelihood options for marginal groups and create market opportunities for them. It will also make the community informed about disasters, increasing their preparedness.
