Surat City launches New Research Centre on Climate Change and Health
With its history of experiencing extreme weather conditions, Surat, India, will build a knowledge base to better support evidence-based local interventions under the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network (ACCCRN). The Centre will conduct research on health risks associated with vectorborne diseases as well as inter-disciplinary research addressing the areas of urban health, environmental services and climate change
