Eastern India Cools the Risks from Extreme Heat

The state of Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, has experienced a tremendous number of natural disasters, which are becoming worse as a result of climate change. After the 1999 “super cyclone”, drastic measures were taken to turn the situation around and help the locals adapt.
