This regional research and development TA will undertake studies to improve understanding of climate-induced migration in selected developing member countries  and subregions. Analysis will be undertaken and policy recommendations developed with respect to the economic and sociopolitical consequences of climate-induced migration; institutional, capacity and resource gaps; and the feasibility of a financing mechanism to support the costs of climate-induced migration. Information dissemination campaigns to raise awareness and share the results of the studies, complementing the communications plan of ADB’s Climate Change Program, will also be undertaken.
