Strengthening Coastal and Marine Resources Management in the Coral Triangle of the Pacific (Phase 2)
The TA will help ensure food security for the populations in Pacific coral triangle countries due to increased resilience of their marine and coastal ecosystems. It will also support the introduction of a more effective coastal and marine resource management, especially those associated with coral ecosystems, threatened by human and climate change impacts. This will be attained through: (i) strengthened capabilities of national and local institutions in sustainable coastal and marine resources management; (ii) best practices in ecosystem-based fishery management and climate change adaptation being applied by coastal communities; and (iii) enhanced resilience of coastal ecosystems.
