This Technical Assistance (TA) will strengthen financial resilience of participating Pacific islands to the effects of natural disasters, including those exacerbated by human-induced climate change. The outcome of this TA will be an improved geophysical-information-environment which supports greater resilience to climate impacts/shocks through both government and development partner decision-making regarding hazard exposure and risk minimization, and supportive of the assessment of the feasibility of a regional pooled catastrophe insurance scheme and its subsequent development.
