The project, Ecosystem Based Adaptation Approach to Maintaining Water Security in Critical Water Catchments in Mongolia, is designed to maintain the water provisioning services supplied by mountain and steppe ecosystems. This UNDP managed project, implemented by the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism, and funded by the Adaptation Fund, will work to internalize climate change risks within land and water resource management regimes.
