This is part of a DANIDA grant to support Vietnam’s National Target Programme on Climate Change. The programme is planned to be implemented over five years, starting from 1 January 2009, with a close partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT). The programme has two components, climate change adaptation and climate change mitigation, which are coordinated by MONRE and MOIT. The climate change adaptation component will support the implementation of the National Target Programme to Respond to Climate Change (NTP-RCC) both overall at national level and specifically in the two climate vulnerable provinces of Ben Tre and Quang Nam.
