Description of Intervention
• Adaptation and capability building among communities residing in the vulnerable coastal zones;
• River-basin management and integrated management of water resources;
• More robust governance mechanisms that address climate variability and change related impacts; and
• Scientific and research-based studies on the field for the development of action plan.

Capacity building to adapt to climate change impacts in coastal areas.
Objectives
To increase government and community climate adaptation capacity and strengthen water governance by 2015. It also aims at improving climate resilience of the Indus Delta ecosystem that supports coastal communities.
How it fits into the EbA concept
The project intends to integrate the adaptation into different policies for each sector – environment, fisheries, water, local government, development, a climate change adaptation plan will be made which will be added to governments planning documents.
