Description of Intervention
The project focuses on three main areas:
• Raising awareness of the expected impacts of climate change and possible solutions;
• Building capacity at the household and community levels to identify, plan and implement practical adaptation measures; and
• Advocating with local, regional and national government to take appropriate action to reduce climate-related vulnerability.

Objectives
The main objective was to build capacities of the schools and Madrasas to understand, use and disseminate climate change information to anticipate and cope with the adverse effects from climate change.

The project aims at awareness creation and capacity building related to the impacts of climate change. Establishing monitoring and yearly warning system are the adaptation strategies taken up.
