Description of Intervention
Rampant floods in Bangladesh damage fish stocks, undermining food security. The Intermediate Technology Development Group – Bangladesh (ITDG-B) undertook a needs assessment in three villages in the Faridpur district looking at fisheries to identify opportunities for interventions that will reduce their vulnerability to floods. Additionally, it will improve the food-security situation of households at the time of disaster.
