The Oxford Adaptation Academy is a joint venture between the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at Oxford University, and the Global Climate Adaptation Partnership. Now in its sixth year it has successfully offered a participant driven, professional training programme designed around practice. This annual three week course will take place from 9-28 August, 2015.
The Academy exposes climate practitioners to the links between climate science, vulnerability and decision making. The Academy integrates three central learning themes: i) Participants' role as change makers, in their own careers and organisations; ii) Adaptation as a process linking climate science, vulnerability and decision making; and iii) Technical skills in analysing adaptation options and project development.
