SPREP – APAN’s sub-regional node for the Pacific – organized a three day work shop to take stock of Pacific countries progress against the six themes of the Pacific Islands Framework for Action on Climate Change (PIFACC) – a guidance framework to assist Pacific Island Countries and territories, regional organizations and partners in addressing climate change risks in the context of national sustainable development priorities. The workshop helped participants to populate and finalize their climate change country profiles as tools for the framework’s M&E. The participants also discussed and reflected on best practices, key literature and available case studies on themes such as education and governance.
