Event

This event invited experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Normal University, the Global Climate Forum, and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) to discuss topics including the green industry development and green development pathways for developing countries.

Climate change is not only a scientific issue, but more importantly a social-economic and international political issue. And due to a lack of scientific and social-economic capacity to deal with climate change impacts, developing countries must better understand the risks when they choose their green development paths. In this side event, experts from China, Japan and Germany discussed these current issues.
