Action Research for Community Adaptation in Bangladesh (ARCAB), a long-term action research programme on Community Based Adaptation (CBA) to climate change in five major ecosystems in Bangladesh, is going to organize 1st national CBA conference in April 2012 to demonstrate the theories and practices of CBA in Bangladesh. The two-day event will provide knowledge-sharing spaces to academicians, practitioners, researches and CBA communities. It will feature four plenary sessions and eight parallel sessions on different aspects and themes of CBA. ARCAB is jointly managed by Bangladesh Centre for Advanced Studies (BCAS) and International Institute for Environment andDevelopment (IIED).
