CDKN’s Elizabeth Colebourn and Ram Chandra Khanal report for CDKN’s website on Asian Development Bank (ADB) workshops on the economics of climate change held across South Asia in July where they showcased lessons from CDKN’s work in Nepal. Governments in the region recognize that their economic growth and poverty reduction efforts are being put at risk by climate change. But, by how much, and exactly how and where is less clear. The ADB is undertaking a regional assessment of the economics of climate change in South Asia, which will provide medium and longer-term modeling of the economics of climate change.
