This ADB report provides a summary of the outcomes of the COP 18 meetings in Doha and ADB’s participation during the meetings. The outcomes of this conference consist of a series of decisions termed the Doha Climate Gateway, which include five actions to be carried out, namely the Kyoto Protocol amendment; the establishment of a timetable for a universal climate change agreement covering all countries from 2020; to be adopted by 2015; advancement towards the completion of new mechanisms to channel finance and technology to developing nations;, agreement to encourage developed countries to increase efforts to provide long-term finance; and advancement towards institutional arrangements to help developing countries deal with climate-related loss and damage
