This article examines benefits that could be generated through the use of Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA). The article argues that investment in EbA is a key to job creation that simultaneously contributes to poverty eradication and sustainable long-term food security. Such investments enhance the competitiveness of domestic production, increase farmers’ earnings and improve the affordability of food for the poor
