Into Unknown Territory: The Limits to Adaptation and Reality of Loss and Damage from Climate Impacts
This briefing paper highlights that impacts from climate change and global warming are already being felt, and will become increasingly inevitable in the future unless there is a rapid reduction in emissions coupled with scaled up support for adaptation. Climate change will result in devastating damage to land, property, ecosystems, and human life. Yet loss and damage from climate change receives far less attention than it deserves from climate negotiators and politicians.
