Second Workshop on Adaptation to Climate Change in Transboundary Basins: Challenges, Progress and Lessons Learnt
The UN Economic Commission (UNECE) workshop for Europe under the Water Convention brought together countries and stakeholders to exchange practical experiences and lessons learned on the technical and strategic aspects of adapting to climate change. Specifically analyzing the challenges of water resources management in the transboundary context, it identified best practices , the factors leading to success, and lessons learned.
The workshop was organized on 12 and 13 April, 2011, along with the 4th meeting of the Task Force on Water and Climate (14 April, 2011).
