The report assesses the current state of climate change adaptation in the Lao PDR and its integration into planning and policy processes, while looking into the institutional mechanisms and policies concerning adaptation, research priorities, national strategies for adaptation capacity building, and areas of intervention for future adaptation work. The study identified the need for holding awareness-raising workshops, development of educational material in the Lao language and an English–Lao glossary of climate and adaptation terms besides on-line access to climate and adaptation-related policies, publications and reports in the Lao PDR
