The ADAPT Asia-Pacific project has established a financing facility that provides a combination of technical assistance, capacity building and networking related to accessing climate adaptation funds. The project aims to build the capacity of government officials in the Asia-Pacific region to develop and obtain financing for climate change adaptation projects, and periodically highlights upcoming training opportunities offered by other organizations.  Applicants for the training programs must be government staff from an eligible country, that is, 27 focus countries in the Asia and Pacific
