Don’t Flush it in Leh

While the bizarre downpour and resulting flash floods in Leh and parts of Pakistan in August 2010 still remains a possible warning of an imminent climate change, the tragedy of Leh was compounded due to its unpreparedness for such a natural calamity. But the story of this tragedy may have its beginnings in the toilets of Leh.
