This report aims at exploring the multiple ways in which mobility influences vulnerability and resilience at the individual, community and society level, as well as at highlighting how innovative solutions can be used to reduce environmental risks faced by mobile populations, as well as by their communities of origin and of destination. The report draws on the wealth of lessons the International Organization for Migration (IOM) has learned from its interventions in the field to illustrate the complex nexus between the environment and migration.
