The three-stage competitive grant process will bring together multi-sectoral, multi-disciplinary teams to identify and help solve the toughest obstacles to building resilience for population in Sahel, the Horn of Africa, and South and Southeast Asia. Teams that are selected to advance to the subsequent stages of the challenge will collaborate to build and implement bold and innovative solutions that overcome the identified barriers.
The overall aim of the challenge is to understand and improve the regional vulnerabilities, strengths, and interdependencies while fostering collaboration, increasing capacity and building resilience on a large scale. The deadline for the first stage of the process is on 19-21 November 2014.
