This study aims to help farmers adapt to an uncertain future through pathways that are beneficial regardless of future

growing conditions. The study demonstrates a framework for prioritising adaptation approaches at a range of timeframes.

 

The framework is illustrated by four case studies from developing countries including Sri Lanka, each with associated characterisation of uncertainty.
