Fourth Bi-monthly Knowledge Sharing & Learning Seminar Concludes

The fourth bimonthly Knowledge Sharing & Learning Seminar focused on: “Bridging the Gap: A Role for Business in Climate Change Adaptation”. It was held on 14 February 2011 at the Imperial Queens Park Hotel in Bangkok.

Bangkok – The fourth bi-monthly Knowledge Sharing & Learning Seminar of the Adaptation Knowledge Platform was organized on the theme “Bridging the Gap: A Role for Business in Climate Change Adaptation” on 14 Februrary 2011. The seminar aimed at creating a platform for dialogue on needs, opportunities, and expectations from  the private sector in climate change adaptation, and align efforts to jointly tackle one of the biggest challenges for the region.

The seminar was co-organized by the Adaptation Knowledge Platform, CSR Asia and funded by Swedish International Development Cooperative Agency SIDA. There were more than one hundred and twenty participants from the business sector, decision makers, practioners of CSR as well as managers of regional and national organizations based in Bangkok working on CSR and on climate change adaptation.
