What is this course about?
This training is designed to systematically assess and analyse an organisation and develop strategy options to improve performance. This course is suitable for organisation assessments as well as for organisations facing strategic challenges and changes.

PARTICIPANTS
You have a curiosity in both analytical and more intuitive ways of diagnosis and strategy making, with an eye for relevance as well as enthusiasm. Managers, junior managers and advisers involved in developing and managing the strategic direction of organisations or are involved in institutional (network and policy) development. This course is highly suitable to be attended by two or (preferably) three participants from the same organisation to practice the tools and theories on their own organisation.

COURSE OBJECTIVES 
In this course you will acquire a compact and comprehensive toolkit to asses organisations and the context in which they operate. You will assess the performance of organisations and learn how to decide on strategic priorities for organisational development. Additionally you will learn how to facilitate a strategy workshop, analyse the institutional setting, the relations between actors and possibilities to develop a network. You will conduct an organizational assessment ,analysing structure, systems, staff, management styles and culture, developing and prioritising strategic options for improvement. Finally you will be introduced to oganisational change processes.
