Managing yourself and others more effectively
What is this course about?
Projects or programmes are implemented by a team of professionals. These professionals do not only deal with technical aspects, but also with management oriented tasks. This course blends the introduction of a number of modern management concepts with a discovery tour of your own personal qualities and pitfalls. This opens the door to an effective (cross-cultural) working attitude and thus a management career in (international) business, governance or development cooperation.
This course is aimed at people who have (or aspire for) a middle management position. Team leaders, project Officers, NGO middle managers and other professionals who want to develop their management skills and career-path.
By the end of this 5-day course you will have gained insight in your personal management style, developed skills in leading and managing your staff and understand different roles in a team. You will leave this course with a personal career development plan, including ideas for individual coaching.
