The Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) is the main venue for the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum 2014. The building was constructed in the late 1970s and it is named Putra World Trade Centre after Malaysia’s first Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. It is one of the nation’s premier convention centres. While PWTC has the largest exhibition space in the country, it offers all the necessary services, i.e. bank, post office, and business centre; as well as food and beverage, i.e. restaurant, café and catering services.
PWTC is located next to Kuala Lumpur’s Golden Triangle and approximately 52 minutes from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). It is highly accessible through road, rail and serviced by frequent bus and taxi services. At the same time, it is within easy walking distant of restaurants and 3-5 star hotels.

1. KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KLIA)
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is the main aviation hub in Malaysia. It is located in Sepang district, in the southern part of the state of Selangor bordering Negeri Sembilan, approximately 50 km from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.
Most international flights arrive at Terminal C which is located at the Satellite Building of KLIA. An aerotrain provides a complimentary shuttle service for passengers between the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Building every 3 – 5 minutes. The aerotrain takes just about 2 minutes to travel into a tunnel that runs underneath an airport taxiway and into the Satellite Building.

No, there is no registration fee for participation. Registration is free for all.
How can I receive financial support for airfare and accommodation?
Among the participants from developing countries that will register in our website, some will be selected for support to cover their participation in the Forum, depending on availability of funds. The rationale for the selection will be the 500-word briefing note that you are requested to submit upon registration.
Who are the facilitators and keynote speakers of the forum?
The sessions will be facilitated by adaptation experts and practitioners from the region. This year's forum will contain a mixture of invited speakers and a selection from others responding to this open invitation to participate. Submitted concept note will be one of the most important criteria for the selection of resource people.
Will there be any paper or poster presentation at the 4th Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum?
No, there will be no paper nor poster presentations in this forum. But there will be a market place to showcase knowledge and organizations.
